The machine not only has influence on the final result but also holds the basic requirements. Thus one has to consider a perfectly planed dust extraction as leftover materials on the workpiece may put the scanner (scanning roller and scanning pad from the machining unit) off.

The pressure air should meet the manufacturer's requirements.

A workshop too cold in temperature leads to worse results within many machines. At times the machine may stop working completely at too low temperatures as the manufacturer wants to protect the machine from any damages. The panel material should therefore be retrieved from the storage room as soon as possible to adjust to the ongoing climate. Too cold panels would ligate the adhesive after applying too fast. Preheating units might help a bit (heated inflow ruler or thermal radiator), which are also offered for edgebanding machines by the manufacturer.
