The pneumatic-/electrical-/electronical-interface is a unit interface for CNC-machining centres.

The particularity is that units are provided with compressed air via the interface, that electrical stream for driving additional functions is provided and electronical control signals for controling these functions can be transferred.

The interface has been primarily used to be able to use the exchangeable gluing unit 360° und gluing unit four-sided and powerEdge types.

By introducing the term easyEdge and powerEdge in the mid-2000's, the name of the interface has been as well adapted and named Easy Interface in most publications and machine descriptions.

Nethertheless newer machines can sometimes be found named "pneumatic-/electrical-/electronical-interface".
