When carrying out head cuts with workpiece packages of very large panels a rotary table in the area of the back supporting tables can be of hugh benefits, as thus can be ensured that the package, whilst correctly aligned, can be refed to the sawing process. Further aids when aligning packages, when creating stacks through panel storage or through lifting tables, are head aligners and aligning tables which get the panel material exactly into position.
