Dismantling instructions | Cargo securing

Basically:

The shippers know their machines, the lorry drivers their lorries.

A collaboration needs to happen here in order to reach the optimum result.

Duty distribution as per HGB §412 para. 1:

"As long as nothing unusual arises from the circumstances or the general customs , the sender is to load the goods safe for transport, to stow and to affix (load) as well as deload. The carrier needs to ensure an operational safe loading."

The shipper needs to make sure:

  • to secure the machine in itself (secured units, axis, affixation of transport security measures,...) -> valuable information to that can be found via our dismantling tips!
  • the proper loading onto the lorry
  • to watch that the driver has sexured the machines on the "right" spots (no sheet metal bent, no sensitive spots straddled, etc.)
  • when question arise, the shipper can have a look at our Logistik any time

The driver needs to make sure:

  • that the load is secured on the lorry - firm stand of the machines
  • to bring cargo securing material (lashing strap, slip resistent matg, etc.)
