With the help of the workpiece thickness zero point adjustment the workpiece thickness can be adjusted to different brush diameters. This minimizes the adjustment work with frequently changing workpiece thickness.

Background

The standard workpiece thickness setting is used to adjust the height of the brush above the conveyor belt. When adjusting, the workpiece thickness, the diameter of the brushes and the tool feeding depth of approx. 1 mm must be taken into account. In order to minimize the adjustment work when the workpiece thickness changes frequently, the reference point of the height adjustment can be shifted according to the brush diameter.
