The smooth PU top pressure rollers from HOMAG are an equipment option for edgebanders.

PU top pressure rollers are used where the serrated rubber rollers used as standard would leave marks, e.g. on shiny surfaces.

In most cases, however, the standard rollers can be used without problems. As the costs for PU top pressure rollers are considerably higher than for rubber rollers, they are offered as an equipment option for all machine classes, while rubber rollers are part of the standard equipment.
