The polishing buffing unit was a component of the system developed by IMA 2013 for the almost jointless coating of panels with high-gloss edges on a CNC machining centre by means of IMA Laser Edging.

The polishing buffing aggregate was used as a supplement to the IMA AEK aggregate for the finishing process.
