Electronic Pad Independent Control Stroke - electronically controlled segmental pressure pad with pneumatic segments.
Technology
- The impulse for the individual segment is generated by the so-called 'Hall effect'. By lifting the tracing roller when the workpiece is run through, a magnet mounted on the tracing roller is moved away from a microchip. The thus interrupted magnetic field causes the microchip to give an electronic pulse, which causes the control to raise or lower the individual segment.
- Advantages: dust-resistant, few mechanical parts
Available segment widths:
- 30 mm
- 16 mm - Version is especially suitable for processing narrow or shaped workpieces with very narrow angles
Versions
- PE-46 stands for 46 independent sectors, each consisting of a pneumatic cylinder, tolerance compensation of 2 mm
- DSP-system (differential pressure system): With this device, two different working pressures in the edge and surface area of the workpiece are possible, to perform especially demanding processes on veneered or painted panels
- PWM-System: differential pressure system with three different working pressures
