DIMTER OPTICUTThe name OptiCut originally comes from Dimter. Optimizing cross-cut saws from GreCon carried the name Classic until it was changed. After the joint venture with GreCon in the late 1990s, the name OptiCut was retained; the cross-cut saws had both manufacturer's names "GreCon Dimter Opticut". The three-digit model designations (OptiCut 100, 200, 300, ..) indicate to models from Dimter; the type designations 1000/2000 come from GreCon. (exception is the GreCon 500 series) Thus, for example, in 1998, the model 204 was sold as blue-white (Dimter) machine, while the model 2004 (from GreCon) was still green-yellow. In about 2000, there was the series GreCon Dimter OptiCut with uniform round machine front and blue-white color scheme. Also manually controlled undertable cross-cut saws are named OptiCut. Examples: OptiCut U 50, 2011 models: OptiCut C 50, OptiCut C 700; OptiCutStacker For slide saws, Dimter used the model designation OptiCut 100 or 104 until about 2002. Since then, the slide saws from Dimter all have the uniform designation OptiCut S-series. Slide-off saws - models in 2011:
