The further developed model "OptiCut 450 Quantum II", offered since 2010, is the fastest through-feed, optimization trim saw of the world (manufacturer information as of 2010).

In connection with an integrated high-performance scanning system, up to 100 running meters of wood can be cut and optimized per minute. The process can be organized fully automatic, from the vacuum destacking of the raw material to the stacking of the cut lengths. The OptiCut 450 Quantum II achieves a performance plus of 15 percent in its newest design. With this machine, even panels with different thicknesses can be processed. The 4-D scanner CombiScan plus 200 C achieves a maximum scanning speed of 240 m/min. With its two laser and 2 color cameras it detects errors in color and structure and, with the Random-Width module it can also be used for decreasing widths. OptiCom direct allows for the uniform operation and control of the entire machine. Using Ethernet, secure data transfer and panel monitoring from the scanning, to the cutting and up to the sorting and stacking is ensured. The concept of the machine is modular and it can be extended to four OptiCut machines.
