GIBEN Side aligner

Through this device, the pack of panels remains precisely aligned during the forward- and backward-movement of the pusher and during the whole edging cut.

The aligning occurs only once before the closing of the grippers and is supported through a permanent active aligning-roll on the rear side of the pressure beam. In order to exclude the possibility of damages in the edge-zone, this side aligner is lifting not vertical but diagonal.

The stripe pack is pulled backwards by the pusher and following it is moved forward according to the given measures, without side aligner leaving the pack. Other systems without an aligning-roll have the need of re-aligning after each positioning of the pusher, so that precious time is consumed by the lowering of the pressure beam and the lifting up of the sawblade. The manufacturer claims that the time-save is 20 %.

As an option a side aligner is available with two liftable and controlled (independent of each other) rollers before and behind the cutting line.
