ROS stands for 'Robotically Operated System

The Biesse robot is mainly used on large installations such as the BIESSE SELCO WN 6 ROS to automate production processes. It can be installed in many different ways, such as CNC-machining centres, CNC drilling machines, grinding machines and more.

Instead of one operator, ROS takes care of workpiece handling, such as workpiece feeding, turning, turning, stacking, etc. The work cycle is fully automatic until all the machining of all the workpieces is completed. Downtimes are drastically reduced and the burden on the operator is reduced. The risk of damage to the material is minimised.
