EPICON is a newly developed CNC machining centre introduced in 2021.

It is a true moving gantry with bilateral drive, standard 5-axis spindle and drilling block.

The machine was offered exclusively with pod and rail table when it was launched. The equipment was relatively extensive, but offered hardly any options for customisation.

The aim was to offer a machine with a high-quality design and equipment in a comparatively low price segment.

Configuration at market launch:

• working range including clamping device: 3,680 x 1,650 x 300
• max. traversing speed (vector speed): 131 m/min
• 5-axis spindle Type HOLZ-HER7844
• travelling 18-axis disc tool changer
• drilling unit HOLZ-HER 7941
• as positioning aid a crosshair laser was available.
