• Regulates the pressure power of pressure beam and grippers to prevent the material from damages caused by heavy fixation.

Especially used for pressure-sensitive material. Pressure control is continuously variable, e.g. lightweight construction and honeycomb panels, hard foam panels, wood fibre and composite panel.

Technical principle

The pressure beam - as usual - moves downward; yet a counter pressure that is pneumatically generated as well absorbs the strain. This causes a reduction of the pressure beam´s dead load. A pressure beam of 200 kg in weight for example has - regardless of the cutting length - only 30 kg in weight then. The grippers developed especially for special when working with pressure-sensitive material are conformed to the same technical principle.

This system was invented and developed by Markus Ungerer (Graduate of the Hochschule Pforzheim in context of his diploma thesis in 2007/08)

The SOFT-TOUCH-Package for the models HPP/ HPL 350/ 380 contains a pneumatic precision regulation for the pressure beams (at least 300 N) and the clamp (at least 50 N). The option material-dependent paratmeters is required
