The second generation of WoodWop software was never sold in its original form, but only came onto the market in 1994 as a revised version 2.5 with the possibility of a connection to corresponding office software.

WoodWOP could now be installed for the first time on Microsoft-compatible PCs with MS DOS, but the machine PCs still ran on OS 9, but the user interface there was also MS DOS.

In addition, it was now possible to create contour lines without any problems, although this was still limited to 120 elements and 99 variables, which at that time was already pushing machine controls to their limits.
