Smooth-sanding automate working with lengthwise sanding for the treatment of surfaces and a smoothing sanding finishing for the wood. The machine can also be used for preparatory sanding, whenever a sanding and smoothing of the surface is needed before the application of lacquer. The electrical pressure beam-control allows for a tolerance compensation of 2 mm. Depending on the kind of lacquer, different sanding belt speeds can be selected, for example 2 and 4 m/sec for the first application and 0.5 to 5 m/sec (continuously variable) for thin application of lacquer.

The working width of the machine is 1.350 mm and the working height is constant with 880 mm. The feed rate can be continuously variable adjusted between 6 and 30 m/min. The machine can be additionally equipped with a sanding or smoothing roller.
