This series can be equipped with up to five aggregates and is most suitable for work in shift systems in surface facilities and superior craftsmanship.

As a standard, the machines are equipped with:

• Heesemann CSD pressure beam system on all sanding aggregates
• Fine-scanning of the workpiece contours for precise calculation of the needed pressure
• Thickness tolerance compensation of max. 2 mm
• Transporting table with fixed working height
• Height adjustment NC-controlled
• Combined calibrating and sanding aggregate
• Feedrate of 3 up to 15 m/min, continuously variable
• Vacuum clamping device for workpieces (see Werkstücksaugspannanlage)
• Sanding aggregates driven by Poly-V-belts

Machine types of this series

• MFA 6: since 2005 also available as 4-belt machine, before that as 3-belt machine; can be equipped with cutterblock, lengthwise roller, crosswise belt, lengthwise belt and brushing unit
• MFA 6 Impression: Belt length 2.620 mm instead of the standard belt length of 2.150 mm; equipment up to a 3-belt machine
• MFA 8
• Heesemann MFA Impression: can be additionally equipped with a lengthwise belt with chevron belt; provided with Heesemann EMS
• MFA 10: additionally equipped with Heesemann CSD Motion Control and EMS; also available as 5-belt machine
