From 2015 IMA is offering the types Advantage 320, 400 and 400L in a new edition. With these machines, both edges from the roller as well as edges made of solid wood can be affixed by use of a EVA- or a water proof PU-glue or through laser technology (from October 2015 on). The machine control ICOS EXPERT is new as well with a 15' touchscreen operation.

The basic equipment of all three types include a top pressure by roller, a gluing unit with 5 Reprint rollers, an infeed fence with veneer stop, double motor trimming saw for a processing speed up to 20m/min, a quadruple motor swiveling arm-edge rounding unit SKF and a Profile- and flat scraper unit.

Advantage 320

With a length of 5.200 mm type 320 is the shortest out of the three Advantage-models.. Standardly edges up to 3 mm thickness can be affixed with it, optionally side edges up to 8 mm thickness are possible as well. Optionally available are the premilling unit and buffing unit.

Advantage 400

These medium-sized edge glue applicator machines with an overall length of 5.700 mm are apart from the optionally available premilling unit equipped with all units which are necessary for the complete edge processing.Im In comparison to the Advantage 320 it has an additional radius milling unit for the affixed edges as well as a buffing unit. One can affix up to 12 mm thick edges with it.

Advantage 400L

The model 400L is one meter longer than the model 400. This additional space can be equipped with additional units. At choice there is a groove milling aggregate and a finishing aggregate with a ball pressure zone. As with the Advantage 400, the maximal edge thickness amounts to 12 mm.
