From the beginning until the mid-1990s, a model called BIMA 200 had already been produced. It was the models of the series BIMA 200/600, which were designed as heavy CNC machining centers without edgebanding aggregates and which were produced in the former IMA-Norte manufactories. Special featuresThe model BIMA 200 wwas offered with a matrix table, a smooth table or a pod and rail table and had a working range of 3.000 x 1.000 mm. The working range of the X-axis could be enlarged in accordance to customer wishes. The model had a working spindle with 5.5 kW and an HSK-F63 tool interface. Optionally available was an 8-fold tool changer, traveling along in X and Y as well as a 6-fold tool changer for particularly large tools, traveling along in X. Different feeding and unloading systems were offered for the model BIMA 200. With the disappearance of the name "Norte" as an independent company of the IMA group in the mid-1990s, the production of the models BIMA 200/600 was also discontinued. | IMA BIMA 200
