IMA BIMA 310 EXPERT

Short description

CNC-machining centre, which was introduced in 2002 as a revised model of the BIMA 310 series of IMA and was replaced by the series BIMA 300 in 2007. The version "Expert" is a freely according to costumer specifications configurable model, whereas the Bima 310 CONCEPT version is a more inexpensive, but in many ways pre-configured model.

Equipment

The BIMA 310 Expert existed in 2 basic configurations:

BIMA 310 Expert as machining center with 1 Y-axis
BIMA 310 V Expert with 2 Y-axes, whereas 1 was available for the edgebanding aggregate.

Except for the Y-axis, both models were identical. In its basic configuration, the machine had a working spindle with 7.5 kW, a C-axis and an 18-fold disc tool changer and 14 vertical drills.

  • 12 kW working spindle
  • 21 vertical drills
  • additional groove saw traversable by 90 degrees
  • 2nd router head with 4.4 kW
  • LED positioning aid

The machine was now available in 4 different working lengths:

  • 3.000 mm
  • 4.000 mm
  • 5.000 mm
  • 6.000 mm

The working range in Y was 1.200 mm.
