1948 | Production of the first piston compressor. In the following years a complete piston compressor program up to 60 kW and later the construction of special machines for the glass industry arises. |
1973 | Development of screw compressors by Carl Kaeser jr. (son of the founder). The heart of the KAESER screw compressors is the self-developed screw compressor block with a new energy-saving rotor profile - the SIGMA-profile. |
1982 | Kaeser develops 'Mobilair', a program of mobile screw compressors for the construction industry.The portable compressors are produced in Lyon, France. |
1991 | Development of the program 'OMEGA' rotary piston blowers, whose production begins in 1993 in Gera. |
1994 | Development of SECOTEC (new program of energy-saving refrigeration dryers) |
1998 | Kaeser brings the compressor-control SIGMA CONTROL on the market, which can be installed in screw compressors. |
2001 | The newly developed compressed air management system SIGMA AIR MANAGER combines the benefits of modern industrial PC and internet technology. |
2013 | Development of the energy-saving dryer SECOTEC TF 340 |
2017 | The first KAESER SIGMA SMART AIR service package for predictive maintenance makes its debut |

2017 | The Research and Innovation Centre is completed.
Kaeser employs over 5700 people. |
2015 | Laying of the foundation stone for the Research and Innovation Centre in Coburg. |
2013 | The foundation stone is laid for a research and development centre at the production site in Gera.
Kaeser becomes a European public limited company. |
2010 | Kaeser Kompressorem employs approximately 4,000 employees. The family business is managed by Thomas Kaeser and Tina-Maria headed Vlantoussi-Kaeser. |
2004 | Inauguration of a product development center in Coburg. |
2002 | In the spring the new production center for portable compressors (the 'MOBILAIR-Werk') in Coburg starts operation. |
1991 | Acquisition of Gera Kompressorwerke, one of the oldest German compressor manufacturer. |
1982 | Acquisition of French compressor manufacturer Compresseurs Bernard. |
1978 | With the establishment of a first subsidiary in Switzerland the creation of an international sales and service organization of Kaeser Kompressoren begins. |

1948 | The first piston compressor leaves the factory (the high demand of post-war economy of compressors promoted its development). Because of the division of Germany the company loses much of its former market in Thuringia and orientates to the west and south. |
1919 | Establishment on 27 June in Coburg by Carl Kaeser senior as engineering workshop. First, production of spare parts for vehicles and engines, especially gears. |
