The ROBA Flat combines the advantages of sanding with brushes and the versatility of manual workpiece guidance.

Machine design and application

Two sanding belts of different widths protrude from the machine table, which can be individually fitted with sanding brushes according to the FlexTrim principle. If window profiles are sanded, the 150 mm wide belt is used for sanding the unprofiled surfaces and the 100 mm wide belt for sanding the profiled sides. Brushes with longer sanding flaps are used for sanding the profiles. However, other configurations are also possible depending on the product. Thanks to the infinitely variable speed of the belt drive motor, painted workpieces can also be sanded.

Sanding long workpieces efficiently

Longer workpieces can be sanded efficiently on the ROBA Twin Flat.
