MASTERWOOD PROJECT 315Under the model name "Speedy 315", a lightweight CNC-machining centre was produced in cooperation with HOLZ-HER in the late 1990s. It was designed as moving gantry. Presumably for marketing reasons, it was partly sold under the name "Project 315". The differences to the basic model, the drilling center "Speedy 207", were a larger working range, an aggregates support with router head as well as full CNC control, which has also been used in other machine of the "Project" series. The successor with this name was a completely new development and has been on the market from about 2005 until 2006. This new development was a machining center, which was a transitional model to the future series Project 300. For the first time, the control panel was no longer integrated into a cabinet, but a separate PC with a flat screen on a desk was the whole control unit, accessible to the operator. This was the predecessor of the new machine design, introduced in 2006, with an S-shaped, movable control panel and a slightly curved large protective hood. A pod and rail table as well as a matrix table were available. Technical data
