Alois Kitzberger becomes the new director

Foundation of a subsidiary in the USA, UNTHA America

Construction of shredders in Austria.

Dr. Christian Ramsauer is the new manager.

Opening the UNTHA Shredders Technikum. Construction of additional storage and assembly halls.

Expansion and modernization of the development and design department. Establishing a research department.

UNTHA shredder moves completely to a new location.

1989

The Anton Unterwurzacher Maschinenbau GmbH is founded and the brand name UNTHA Shredders is introduced. Construction of production facilities in Kuchl.

1986

Establishing a distribution network in Europe and America.

1981

The shredder RS 30 is the world's first series-produced shredding machine with four-shaft system and perforated screen.

1980

Development of the first four-shaft cutting system with perforated screen (patent).

1979

First shredder is completed and delivered together with automatic incinerator.

1978

On request of a local businessman there is started the development of a machine for shredding wooden packing cases and boxes, simultaneously developing an automatic combustion system.

1970

Anton Unterwurzacher founds an engineering business in Kuchl / Salzburg.
