History

2014

After insolvency of Reinhardt, the Company Paul takes over the Company Christof Reinhardt Maschinenbau in Rottweil-Neukirch. The brand name REINHARDT is being conserved.

2012/ 2013

Remodification of the model series Push_Cut_CX and C14; the machines are designed according to the current design with the additional designation "II" (Push_Cut_CX II, C 14 II); introduction of the model series Q.

2011

Non-contacting marking system Touch-Free Marking System

2010

Extension of the headquarters in Dürmentingen to a total of 37,000 sqm. Introduction of the double-edging circular saw KME 3.

2009

Model series C11, high-performance CNC cross-cut system of the model series RAPID, Scanner "Wood Scanning System" as entry-level model, replaces the series 11 having been produced since the 1990s.

2004

Senior managing director Odilo Paul deceases. The company Paul produces with 260 employees and an annual turnover of 23 million €.

2003

CNC-optimizing cross-cut system, model 14, receives a new design and is now commercialized under the name C14; new control generation Paul MAXI 5 under the operating system LINUX.

2002

Completion of the Push_Cut_CX in summer and replacement of the existing model PushCut; the company Paul receives the economy medal of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.

Headquarters in Dürmentingen are too small - construction start of a new factory in the industrial area of Dürmentingen.

Development of a new machine concept: PushCut. The wood is no longer transported with rollers, but is placed in position with a pusher.

After the 2nd World War his two sons, Berthold and Oldio Paul, joined the company. Together they developed the first double-edging circular saw in 1948.

  • Until 2011, the manufacturer produced over 7500 douple-edging circular saws of the series IIc, K, KM, KME, KME 2, K2V and BM and therefore is a world leader in this class.
1925

Establishment, as Max Paul set up a mechanical workshop in his parents house in Dürmentingen. In addition, he operated a braided straw rope and seaweed spinning mill, a bicycle and sewing machine shop and the laundry room of the municipality. He started the production of special machinery for the production of whips. Max Paul was founder and managing director until 1960.
