HOLZ-HER CUT

Production series of horizontal beamsaws from the house of HOLZ-HER. The manufacturer calls this type of machines pressure beamsaw.

Beamsaws

  • Entry-level machine for non-industrial use: for example CUT 70
  • Compact sizing plant for serial production: CUT 85/ 110
  • Specification 85 or 110 describes the machine´s maximum cutting height
  • Addition "INDUSTRY" mentioned in the model designation describes machines that are conceived for higher performance requirements at continuous operation for example CUT 110 INDUSTRY

In 2009 the manufacturer stopped using the cutting height as part of the model designation and added a four-digit type designation. Example: CUT 6120.

Vertical panel saw

  • In the 1960s the manufacturer used three digits to create its designations
  • example: model PK-341
  • After that - between 1970 and about 2008 - HOLZ-HER's beamsaws carried four digits as type designation - partly with the addition 'PK'.
  • examples: model 1205, model 1220, model PK 1265
  • since about 2008/2009 the vertical panel saws are named with 'CUT'
  • examples: CUT 1280, CUT 1254

A particularity of HOLZ-HER machines is the scoring system Supercut that is used in vertical panel saws for many years now. This principle is combinable with the scoring system Twin Cut. Both system together are called SuperCut plus by the manufacturer.
