Technical property of the material pusher in optimization cross cut saws.

The pusher is tightly connected with the drive of the material feed; it cannot be raised. For this reason, the pusher firstly has to move completely into its starting position, before a new workpiece can be inserted.

Machines with rigid pusher usually can be used for part optimisation or for wood defect cutting, but they cannot do both processing steps at the same time.
