Removal of the protruding edges of material.

After edgebanding keeps an edgeband overhang on every side. Top and bottom cutterheads trim edgeband to correct thickness. This is possible with different equipment:

• manual power tool
• edge trimming machine
• Edgebander with flush / radius / chamfer milling units

At smaller edgebanders the possibility of trimming is a major equipment feature, because it allows the processing of brittle edge material.
