TKR is the name for WANDRES tornado channels with rotating nozzles.

Mode of operation

High-speed rotating nozzles allow the air stream to sweep over the workpiece surface at supersonic speed in rapidly changing directions and are therefore particularly suitable for dedusting structured and profiled surfaces. The rotor arms mesh like gearwheels. To ensure uniform movement, the rotors are driven by electric motors.

Application

• cleaning of workpiece surfaces with surface structures, e.g. laminate, parquet, panels for wall panelling and furniture panels.
• cleaning of workpieces with profiled surfaces, e.g. furniture fronts made of MDF before lamination.
• accordingly, tornado ducts of the TKR series are placed in the outlet of structuring wide belt sanders, brushing machines or in cleaning units in the inlet area of varnishing machines and membrane presses.
• the highest cleaning effect can be achieved with the help of a downstream sword brush unit.
