Feed-through technology
You see the entry in
Feature of different kinds of machines, to transport work pieces during processing through the machine. Feeding and unloading always take place on the same side of the machine. By the means of appropriate transport devices, the machines can easily be integrated in automatic production lines. Mostly, the processing itself is not realised with continous feed, but in a stroke process. Therefore, this is not a classic continous processing, like for example in the case of an edge banding machine or planers and moulders . Continuous veneer pressesWhen operating a press in the throughput the bottom heating plate will be wrapped by a foil belt, which is transporting the tool. A covering belt before the pressing will be equipped and eventually handed over to the workpiece in the press. top plunger press will be employed, whose working height stays consistent.
Continous-carcass presses
Continous-membrane pressesMembrane presses, where the placement tables move through the press before being transported automatically (after the pressing) to the inlet side of the machine. The term is for example used by Bürkle for the models "Circulation" and "Flowline" - see also series BTF. In contrast, mebrane presses may be fed and unloaded simultaneously on one side of the machine (see alternating feeding). |
