This term, coined by manufacturer Thermwood, describes a particular direction of the Nesting process. "Cut Ready", the "cut ready"-production process manufactures tools where all the cutting and milling work is done in one go. The peculiarity as opposed to other Nesting maschines lies in the programming. With usual Nesting machines and other CNC-machining centres the machine functions will be programmed according to the desired product in several steps with help of various programs. With the "Cut Ready" process by Thermwood the server initially assembles the desired product of a multitude of shapes directly at the machine control and passes forward the measures.

The dimensions of the raw material are being typed in manually or scanned. From those information the "THERMWOOD CUT CENTER" computes the machine function and determines the tool selection from the standard feed of the tool changer. Directly after the data have been entered, the processing may begin. This process also facilitates the Lot size 1 processing for representable costs.
