After gluing plastic or veneer edges, the overlapping edge material is aligned with the edge profile. This is necessary for edge material over 1mm thick, for which the lengthwise edges are rounded with a profile milling aggregate, and also for completely profiled edges on Post- and Softforming workpieces.

Edge rounding (milling for alignement) is not to be confused with corner rounding!
