History

2015

The business operation of the WEINIG-subsidiary WACO Jonsereds AB on location Halmstad/ Schweden will be discontinued. The competences in the field of the slicer technology will be transferred to the WEINIG-head office to Tauberbischofsheim and the undoing technology to the WEINIG - subsidiary RAIMANN.

2013

Introduction of a new series of band resaws: BK 60/80 (BK 80)

2007

WACO/Weinig takes over all engineering and design drawings of the Kupfermühle- planers as well as the brand name "Kupfermühle" of the Grenzebach Maschinenbau GmbH in Asbach-Bäumenheim/Hamlar. The buyout is linked to the new development of an own series of wide planing machines for the woodwork area. With the help of these kinds of machines in the future complete production lines for example for finger jointed and glued woodwork products shall be offered, whose components are mostly produced within the Weinig group.

WACO has approximately 100 employees in Sweden

WACO Jonsereds acquires Jonab System AB

Statsföretag AB takes over Jonsereds and shortly after this Waco, the result is the company WACO Jonsered AB

Establishing the Maskinfabriken WACO AB by Albert J. Wahlbeck: first production of joinery machines such as zinc machines, circular and band saws, which were exported in the 1920s and 1930s

Start the production of woodworking machines by Jonsereds
