TKF is the series designation for WANDRES tornado ducts with fixed nozzles.

Mode of operation

Fixed nozzles direct the compressed air stream at supersonic speed at a slight angle onto the workpiece surface. This penetrates deep into boreholes and similar recesses and ejects any particles inside.

Application

• cleaning workpiece surfaces with narrow recesses such as drilled holes, grooves and folded edges
• accordingly, tornado channels of the TKF series are installed on the workpiece transfer devices downstream of/between edge banding machines and edge machining lines as well as dowel drilling lines.
• the highest cleaning effect can be achieved with the aid of a downstream sword brush unit.
