The parallelogram cross table is attached to the edging table of sliding table saws. The cross table increases the support surface for the workpiece. In addition, it is supported by a movable arm attached to the machine frame. If an angle is now set, the entire parallelogram cross table assumes the angle, forming the shape of a parallelogram. This ensures that the support surface for the workpiece is the same for each angle set. A similar principle is also used for the SCM Full-Support tilting table.
