CMS Monoposto is a 5-axis milling machine that was specially designed for the production of spectacle frames, but could also be used for the production of other small parts such as pistol grips, table tennis bats, etc. The machine was equipped with an automatic loading system via a blank magazine and automatic multiple reclamping of the workpiece.

Depending on the degree of equipment, the machine could realise a fully automatic production, so the automatic loading via a blank magazine as well as the automatic multiple reclamping of the workpiece was possible.

The machine was not equipped with a conventional machine table, but with a workpiece holder with several possible workpiece positions. This also served as the 6th axis.
