Name of a contour milling aggregate on edgebanders by Homag, for the processing of protruding edges and for the milling of front and rear edges with two motors.

The aggregate allows the manual tool quick change due to a special tool interface.

The aggregates FK 11 and FK 13 (automatic tool change) are designed for medium feedrate and capacities. The FK 21 (manual tool quick-change) and FK 23 (automatic tool change) are the corresponding high-performance aggregates. The complete series FK with corner rounding units and tool interface originates in the initial development of the FK 03.

Homage offers 4-motor contour-milling aggregates as construction series FF.

Optional equipment

• Pneumatic lateral aggregate adjustment between two positions, for setting the correct parameters on the screen after tool change.
• FK 11 automatic: With automatic adjustment of the lateral scanning by the control. Both the changing unit as well as the FK unit are equipped with the interface.
