Processing of packages is a function for nesting machine. It describes the simultaneous processing of several panels stacked one upon the other.

Problem:

• When nesting several panels lying one upon the other, the suction power of the vacuum decreases considerably. It is usually very difficult to secure the top panel sufficiently.
• Nesting several panels in a package is all useful for machines with a high level of automation. However, the automation solutions for individual panels are then no longer suitable; modified automation solutions or automation solutions developed entirely for processing of packages must be used.
• Software and sensor must be adapted.

Depending on the manufacturer, different technical means are used to be able to process several panels one upon the other simultaneously during nesting processing.
