Short description

Self-adjusting machine table at CNC-machining centres of the HOMAG group, which was produced from about 2002 until 2008.

It was a newly developed product. Before, there was a device for automatic positioning of the consoles, using the aggregates support. Here, the consoles were positioned by movements on the x-axis, via a driving pin.

AutoClamp was available in two versions:

• With automatic positioning consoles and manual positionable suction cups with crosshairs laser.
• With fully automatic positionable consoles and suction cups

In contrast to the PT table ist was not possible to drive the table during the processing of the workpiece.

The AutoClamp-table was replaced by the AP System for the K-table, which was more reliable, by changes of the configuration of guiding and driving elements, offered easier programmability and simplified the changing of clamps.
