The CNC-machining centre U46 was introduced in 1988 along with the new construction series U. It has the largest working range and also the largest assembling range for the aggregates support of all cantilever machines of the U-series.

• surface scanning aggregate

The production of the U46 ceased in 1993, the complete construction series U was replaced by the construction series Author.
