Intelligent Sanding Dualprogram in connection to ISA- segmented pressure pad.

For complex sandig tasks, the machine manufacturer is offering Weber the ISD-system. ISD offers the operator the possibility to increase the pressure of the segmental pressure pad which are located on the workpiece fringe. The pressure as well as the quantity of the segments may vary. This facilitates the processing of the workpieces with solid wood ahesives, which have to be sanded harder on the fringe. For the lachquer sanding, however, the sanding pressure has to be reduced on the workpiece fringe to avoid sanding through the thin layer.
