Patented sorting out of oddments for OptiCut cross cut saws by the manufacturer Dimter

Technical principle

Depending on the length of the remaining oddment/waste piece or the following quality workpiece the conveyor automatically opens or closes the waste gate.

• Long waste piece: conveyor backs up
• Short waste piece: conveyor moves in the direction of the trimming saw and gathers the following (if so short) quality workpiece

The manufacturer Dimter differs between two versions:

• Pneumatic waste chute
• High-performance waste chute (used for highspeed models):
• OptiCut 450 Quantum
• OptiCut 450 FJ 'plus'
• OptiCut 450 Super
