Former German manufacturer of drilling machines, in particular in the field of window, door and staircase production. The company arised from Hoffmann Dübelfix as well as the Hoffmann GmbH, which exists still today and became successful with the sale of so-called 'Hoffmann-Schwalbe'.

History

2006	The business is ceased on 31.10. The product program is still manufactured under license and sold.
1999	Herbert Hoffman dies.
1998	Hoffmann Bohrsysteme takes over the whole DÜBELFIX-program and offers spare parts and new aftermarket parts.
1997	Christian Hoffmann junior takes over the company.
1993	Herbert Hoffmann founds a new company and starts up Hoffmann Bohrsysteme.
1990	Walter Hoffmann founds together with his sons Andreas, Martin and Thomas Hoffmann the Hoffmann GmbH and is very successful with the sale of so-called 'Hoffmann-Schwalbe '(a jointing element for grooves). His brother Herbert Hoffmann founds Hoffmann Bohrsysteme GmbH in 1993.
1988	A dispute between the two managing brothers brings the company Hoffmann to a stop.
1985	Herbert Hoffmann develops a frame drilling machine for drilling in two levels.
1976	Acquisition of the company BILEK Dübelfix and renamed into Hoffmann Dübelfix. This company will file bankruptcy in 1991.
1974	Establishment of a simple tool manufacturing company by the brothers Walter and Herbert Hoffmann and acquisition of tenoners, chain mortisers and louver milling machines from the company FESTO.
