The material feeding takes place via a funnel in front of a hydraulically operated drawer, which pushes the material controlled independently from weight on the rotating rotor. The drawer is equipped with glue scrappers which prevents the undesired infeed between drawer and machine housing. The shredding of the affixed material takes place between the rotor blades and the fixed counter blades. The produced chips will be carried out of the machine through an auger feed screw or an extraction system. The profiled V-rotor will be made our of full material and stored in stabil rotor stock. On its scope, special knife carriers have been shrink-wrapped in in-milled knife pockets, by deploying the cutting blades and screwing them in from the back, which allows the quick change of knives.
